Job summary

Cinova Medical, Inc. in Phoenix, AZ seeks a Process Technician for the 2nd shift to run and set up injection molding equipment and secondary devices, maintain process parameters, and ensure safety and quality. You will start up machines, troubleshoot defects, document results, and work with engineers to improve processes.

The role requires hands-on experience in plastics processing, IQMS preferred, and a strong adherence to QS 9001 and ISO 13485 standards. Training provided.

Qualifications

• Plastic Injection molding background with a minimum of three years of experience in plastics processing.
• A strong ability to troubleshoot processing problems and make adjustments to make good parts.
• Knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical systems and controls.
• Ability to work independently and within a group using good judgment in decision making processes.
• Must be fully trained and perform IQMS tasks: startup, rejects, production monitoring, process monitoring, work orders, scheduling monitoring.

Responsibilities

• Set-up the injection mold presses and install molds according to specifications.
• Read specifications and set machine controls, regulating temperature, volume, time and pressure.
• Provide input for process improvement and downtime reduction.
• Inspect and evaluate parts for quality.
• Monitor and troubleshoot molding process and equipment.
• Make adjustments to equipment to obtain desired results.
• Responsible for machine start-ups and alarms.
• Ensure machines and robots run at optimum efficiency.
• Document Process Verification and related records.
• Provide mold and fixture preventative maintenance.
