ABB in Florida seeks an Injection Mold Technician on 2nd shift responsible for all aspects of plastic injection molding production, including training, cost, quality standards, and service. They are expected to work safely, produce quality parts, and maintain 5S in the area.

You will ensure machines run at standard rates, perform quality checks, monitor safety, record logs, and train shift personnel on SOPs and processing techniques.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 3 years' experience in plastic injection molding.
• Strong knowledge of生产流程 and processes.

Responsibilities

• Ensure machines run at a standard rate, cavitation & cycle time.
• Perform quality checks at predetermined times and record on all products molded.
• Monitor machines to ensure proper functions and safety.
• Notify appropriate persons when there is a machine or tool malfunction.
• Load and unload product bins or containers as necessary.
• Maintain 5S and daily checklists on presses and surrounding area.
• Complete daily molding log book and press board.
• Perform diagnostics on production process and equipment problems.
• Provide training to shift personnel on SOPs and processing techniques.
