Job summary

DFA Schuylkill Haven is seeking a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to keep our cultured dairy facility running with new equipment, automation and technology. You will perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production, processing and packaging equipment, read schematics, support installation projects and train operators to minimize downtime while upholding safety and quality.

Ideal candidates have 4–6 years in maintenance, a high school diploma or GED, and PLC/HMI experience; ammonia

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• 4–6 years maintenance experience in manufacturing.
• Experience with ammonia refrigeration systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance and repairs on production, processing, and packaging equipment following safety procedures.
• Perform preventative maintenance and routine inspections of equipment.
• Read schematics and service manuals to perform maintenance.
• Assist installation of new equipment and train operators to minimize downtime.
