Job summary

Sheridan is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician to support production equipment and facility operations in Fort Ripley, MN. This is a 2nd shift role (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with consistent weekday hours and rotating on-call weekends.

Pay starts at $23.00/hour or higher, depending on experience, plus an additional $1.00/hour shift differential. Ideal candidates will have strong mechanical troubleshooting skills in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Mechanical aptitude.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.
• Electrical knowledge including single phase 120v, three phase 480v and 24 VDC power systems.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures to find solutions.
• Complete all preventative, scheduled and emergency maintenance and repair work to facilities and equipment as required.
• Perform safety measures in the design and installation of equipment.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
