Job summary

JBS USA Prepared Foods in Council Bluffs, IA is seeking a Production Maintenance team member for the 2nd shift to troubleshoot and maintain Formax, Alkar, Multivac, Flexvac and Slicer equipment. You will monitor production areas and complete work orders with a strong emphasis on safety.

Requirements include a High School diploma, ability to read/write English, basic math, and prior production maintenance experience.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read, write, and speak in English.
• Ability to perform general mathematical calculations.
• Mechanical inclination and knowledge of job specifications.
• Previous production maintenance experience required.
• Knowledge of industrial manufacturing equipment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor production areas to ensure proper functioning of equipment.
• Troubleshoot machinery such as Formax, Alkar, Multivac, Flexvac, and Slicer equipment.
• Complete assigned work orders and required paperwork.
• Adhere to Safety Procedures including Lock Out Tag Out and related safety rules.
• Adjust, repair, and replace electrical and electronic equipment.
• Promote and encourage safety in maintenance practices.
• Work 40 hours per week in all plant areas.
