Job summary

IES Infrastructure Solutions in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. The role involves preventative maintenance and repair of machines and the facility to meet production needs, with responsibilities ranging from equipment installation to routine PM and safety-focused improvements.

The ideal candidate will perform basic repairs, maintain records of downtime and PM work, and support EHS initiatives while ensuring efficient operation of yard equipment and safe

Responsibilities

Install and dismantle equipment
Change out weld power supplies
Exchange bevellers for service
Change flux handling equipment
Swap trunnions for repair
Change out VFD/transformers
Perform preventative maintenance (PM) on equipment (mobile and stationary)
Do basic repairs on equipment
Perform basic maintenance tasks (plumbing, changing light bulbs and filters)
Record downtime, repair, and PM time in FIIX
Removing items from inventory in FIIX
Complete assigned tasks with minimal assistance
Independent and efficient operation most yard equipment for repairs and safe transportation of equipment
Perform daily inspection of rigging and mobile equipment
Perform proper rigging techniques with assistance
Actively support all EHS and continuous improvement initiatives
