Job summary

MARSHALLTOWN is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support 2nd shift operations at our Fayetteville, AR location. You will install, troubleshoot, and maintain production and facility equipment, with emphasis on hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical systems.

PLC/robotics experience is strongly preferred. The role requires a high school diploma, 3+ years of industrial maintenance, and continuing education in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance disciplines.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent, required.
3+ years of industrial maintenance experience emphasizing hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical skills required.
Completion of Craft Apprenticeship, preferred.
PLC, Robotics, or other automation experience is strongly preferred.
Continuing education in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance programs, is preferred.

Responsibilities

Install and maintain production machines and equipment.
Provide emergency repairs of equipment during production.
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
Read and interpret equipment manuals, schematics, parameter lists, fault code listings, and troubleshooting guides.
Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and adjust equipment.
Perform preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and facilities.
Perform a variety of plumbing, maintenance, and carpentry functions.
Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters, and material handling equipment.
Detect faulty operations or defective material.
All other duties as assigned.
