TSG - The Sheridan Group is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Technician in Brainerd, MN, on a 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) with rotating weekends. The role focuses on supporting production equipment and facility operations in a manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED and 2+ years of mechanical technician experience, with strong troubleshooting skills and knowledge of Lock-Out-Tag-Out. On-site, weekday hours apply, with weekend on-call as needed.

Qualifications

• Requires high school diploma or GED.
• 2+ years of mechanical technician experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Understand Lock-Out-Tag-Out.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot electrical and mechanical breakdowns.
• Maintain, alter, rebuild and adjust equipment and facilities to include fabricating parts and assemblies.
• Follow up on and study recurring facility-oriented failures in an effort to find solutions.
• Attend to RTU air conditioners, filter changes, wash condensers, tighten belts.
• Maintain an inventory of supplies and materials necessary for the operation of the building and manufacturing.
• Wood working projects.
