Job summary

Jobot is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot, repair, and maintain industrial production equipment in Athol, MA. This 2nd shift role (Mon-Fri, 3PM-11PM) offers a strong mechanical maintenance focus and opportunities to improve uptime and reliability on a variety of machinery.

Ideal candidates have experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, drive systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting, and are comfortable reading mechanical and electrical schematics.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years in industrial maintenance or a similar role.
• Experience with hydraulics, pneumatics, drive systems, and basic electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical diagrams.
• Familiarity with preventive maintenance programs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair industrial manufacturing and production equipment.
• Perform mechanical maintenance on gearboxes, drive systems, bearings, conveyors, pneumatic systems.
• Maintain and repair all machinery and equipment to minimize downtime.
• Identify equipment failures and implement corrective actions.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance to improve reliability.
• Remove, replace, rebuild, and install mechanical components.
• Read and interpret mechanical drawings, hydraulic diagrams, and electrical prints.
• Follow LOTO, OSHA, and safety procedures; support continuous improvement.
