Job summary

GRT Rubber Technologies, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Tech I on 2nd shift to perform maintenance, troubleshooting and repair of mechanical and basic electrical systems in the plant.

Responsibilities include fabrication, installation and repair of mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, steam, and electromechanical equipment; basic welding, plasma and oxyacetylene cutting required. Qualified candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, 5 years journeyman maintenance experience, and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; post-secondary vocational training preferred.
• Minimum 5 years journeyman maintenance experience in industrial settings.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings and piping diagrams.

Responsibilities

• Perform safe maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and modification of plant mechanical and basic electrical systems.
• Develop and perform preventive maintenance plans; monitor equipment performance.
• Repair and fabricate machine components; weld as needed.
• Use welding and cutting equipment following hot work permits; maintain clean work area.
• Document actions, irregularities, and trends; communicate with teams.
