Job summary

Alvogen is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Maintenance Mechanic in Norwich, NY. The role maintains machinery across manufacturing and packaging areas, performing preventive maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics per manuals and specs.

The position requires mechanical experience, hydraulics and pneumatics knowledge, and the ability to work safely with forklifts and tools. Competitive hourly pay and comprehensive benefits available.

Qualifications

• Mechanical experience required.
• Understanding of hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanics.
• Team player and willing to work with minimal supervision.
• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills and basic computer proficiency.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, repair or maintain industrial production machinery.
• Disassemble and replace worn components (bearings, gears, belts, etc.).
• Identify faulty equipment through observation and testing.
• Operate ladders, lifts and platforms safely.
• Safely operate forklifts and hand/power tools.
• Keep accurate maintenance records and update PMs.
• Participate in daily shift meetings and scheduling.
