Job summary

Accentuate Staffing is assisting an established manufacturer of cabling products by recruiting an Industrial Electrician for 2nd shift with training on 1st shift. This direct hire role supports production machinery, power distribution, and utility systems.

The ideal candidate has 1–3+ years in an industrial electrical role, an associates degree or equivalent, and strong NEC knowledge. Proficiency with PLCs, meters, scopes, and related tools is required.

Qualifications

• 1–3+ years of electrician experience in an industrial environment.
• Associates degree or equivalent experience required.
• Strong knowledge of the National Electric Code.
• Proficient with PLC programmers, Electric Motor Drives, Ammeters, Digital Multimeters, Oscilloscopes, Power Supplies, Shop tools.
• Machine installation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide electrical and electronic maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering support of production machinery, power distribution, and utility systems
• Perform electrical preventative, scheduled, and corrective maintenance
• Operate, modify, and maintain electrical power distribution systems, lighting, and HVAC power
• Program, troubleshoot, and utilize programmable controllers, PLCs
• Adjust and coordinate complex machine automation systems
• Calibrate components and systems to meet product specifications
• Fabricate and modify electrical operation and control enclosures for plant equipment
• Test equipment after repairs and modifications

Responsibilities:

• Industrial Electrician will provide electrical and electronic maintenance, troubleshooting, and engineering support of production machinery, power distribution, and utility systems
• Electrician will perform electrical preventative, scheduled, and corrective maintenance
• Electrician will operate, modify, and maintain electrical power distribution systems, lighting systems, power for receptacles, hvac power and controls, etc.
• Electrician will program, troubleshoot, and utilize programmable controllers, PLCs
• Electrician will adjust and coordinate complex machine automation systems
• Electrician will calibrate components and systems to ensure adherence to product specifications
• Electrician will fabricate and modify electrical operation and control enclosures for plant equipment
• Electrician will test equipment after repairs and modifications

Requirements:

• Candidates must have 1-3+ years experience as an electrician in an industrial environment
• Associates degree or equivalent experience required
• Candidates must have a strong knowledge of the National Electric Code
