Job summary

Forsman Farms Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift HR Supervisor at our Minnesota processing plant to oversee HR operations on the floor, ensure policy compliance, and act as the primary liaison between plant management, employees, and HR leadership.

You will lead employee relations, performance management, recruitment and onboarding, attendance and leave tracking, training, and HR reporting, while fostering safety, engagement, and continuous improvement across shifts.

Qualifications

• HR experience in manufacturing or similar setting preferred.
• Strong knowledge of labor laws and workplace safety.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency with HRIS and MS Office suite.

Responsibilities

• Oversee HR operations for the second shift.
• Serve as primary HR contact for site employees and supervisors.
• Manage employee relations, conflicts, and policy guidance.
• Support recruitment and onboarding for site positions.
• Coordinate performance management and development initiatives.
• Monitor attendance, leave requests, and compliance with regulations.
• Lead safety initiatives, investigations, and reporting.
• Prepare HR reports on headcount, turnover, and metrics.
• Promote engagement and workforce development across shifts.
