Job summary

Qualifications

• Reading and writing English is required.
• Some knowledge of institutional cleaning is desirable.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 lbs.
• Ability to operate cleaning equipment safely.
• Must be able to understand and follow oral and written instructions.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop and scrub floors inside and outside buildings.
• Use floor machines and attachments for cleaning and maintenance.
• Move furniture and equipment as needed for cleaning tasks.
• Wash windowsills, doors, and glass surfaces.
• Report repair items to supervisor and maintain a clean environment.
