Job summary

Aramark is seeking an Environmental Services EVS Worker for Highland Park Hospital in Highland Park, IL. This role covers the 2nd shift and may be offered as full-time or part-time, with rotating weekends and holidays as required.

The EVS Worker cleans patient and resident areas, adheres to safety and infection control protocols, and supports a clean, safe hospital environment. The position offers benefits and opportunities to develop skills while serving patients, families, and staff.

Qualifications

• Previous custodial experience preferred.
• Able to follow basic safety procedures and precautions.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to procedures to provide a safe working environment including OSHA compliance.
• Performs cleaning and sanitizing of patient rooms and restrooms following infection control procedures.
• Maintains and cleans housekeeping equipment.
• Cleans assigned areas to meet Aramark and client standards.
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas.
• Reports maintenance concerns via work order requests to appropriate personnel.
• Maintains friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward customers, clients, patients, and co-workers.
• Secures the facility, ensuring building is locked/unlocked as required.
• Ensures security of company assets.
• Other duties and tasks as assigned by manager.
