Job summary

Amarr Company in Shawnee, KS is seeking a 2nd shift Hardware Order Packer to accurately pick and check inventory to fill orders. You may rotate into other entry level tasks within the department to meet requirements.

Essential duties include generating pick lists, labeling and staging products for handlers, and keeping the workspace clean. Physical labor and dexterity are required in a fast-paced environment.

A O r der Filler candidate will be responsible for accurately picking and checking inventory to fill orders . You must also be capable of learning and performing the duties of other entry level positions within the department to meet periodic job rotation requirements.

ESSENTIAL ACCOUNTABILITIES:

• Responsible for generating a pick list and checking inventory to fill orders.
• Responsible for picking, labeling and staging product for material handlers.
• Responsible for keeping work area clean and organized.
• Any other duties as required .
• Ability to learn product .
• Manual dexterity: Grip small objects to cut rubber and maneuver hands/wrists in repetitive motion consistently.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Must be able safely work with another team member to carry or lift door panels or push and pull carts in excess of forty - five pounds.
• Walking distance of 5-15 feet on a periodic basis during the shift, depending upon the position assigned
• Standing/Walking required throughout the entire shift.
