Job summary

Datwyler Group in Middletown, NY, is seeking a Production Operator to join its pharmaceutical packaging line. The role focuses on operating and monitoring equipment in a GMP environment to ensure safety, quality and efficiency in a cleanroom.

You will operate washing, packaging, vision inspection and sterilization equipment, follow SOPs and SOP-related processes, and engage in SAP interactions to support production targets on a 2nd shift (Mon-Fri, 3:00 pm–11:30 pm).

Qualifications

• High school diploma is required.
• One month in-plant training covering TQM, SPC, GMO, SOPs.
• Six months on-the-job training is required.
• Ability to speak, read and write English to understand procedures and documentation.
• Basic arithmetic skills.
• Performs basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Operates and monitors packaging equipment in a GMP environment.
• Ensures equipment is maintained and work area is clean, safe and organized.
• Follows SOPs and WI’s and participates in trainings and meetings.
• Meets productivity standards and organizes work effectively.
• Promotes safety and reports potential risks to the line manager.
• Trains new operators or trainees as requested.
