Job summary

Gorton’s Brook Park processing plant is seeking a 2nd Shift General Helper (2:00 PM to 10:30 PM). You will operate a forklift, follow GMPs, and maintain clean production areas during the shift.

Starting pay is $22.23 per hour with full benefits and overtime availability. Candidate should lift 50–70 lbs, have a high school diploma or GED, and be able to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Lift 50–70 lbs and move pallets.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Experience in a processing facility or fast-paced environment.
• Self-starter with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work overtime.

Responsibilities

• Operate a forklift following safety regulations.
• Follow GMPs to ensure compliance.
• General cleaning and housekeeping of production areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Stage materials as needed during the shift, including for the next shift.
• Relieve other positions during breaks, lunches, or as requested.
• Keep washroom clean, organized, and free from buildup.

What You’ll Do

• General cleaning and housekeeping of production areas, including sweeping, vacuuming, and trash removal.
• Stage materials as needed during the shift, including for the next shift.
• Relieve other positions during breaks, lunches, or as requested.
• Keep washroom clean, organized, and free from buildup (lock cabinet, clean floors, etc.).

What You’ll Need

• Manually lift 50-70 lbs and move pallets.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Prior work experience in a processing facility or fast‑paced environment.
• Self‑starter with a positive attitude.
• Ability to work overtime.
