Job summary

Allegiance Industries in Columbia, SC is hiring a 2nd shift general cleaner to maintain classrooms and facilities within an educational setting. You will sweep, vacuum, mop, empty trash, restock supplies, and perform light floor care while following safety protocols and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop floors and clean other surfaces in buildings.
• Greet, gather and empty trash; restock supplies; service restrooms.
• Move heavy equipment or furniture as needed for cleaning tasks.
• Mix cleaning agents according to specifications and use them safely.
• Identify repairs or maintenance needs and report to appropriate staff.
• Possibly perform floor care tasks (steam cleaning, waxing, buffing).
