Job summary

Allegiance Industries is hiring for a 1st shift General Cleaner in Clinton, NC. Monday to Friday, 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You will clean buildings by sweeping, vacuuming, mopping floors and cleaning surfaces, plus restrooms and common areas. The role involves light moving of equipment and reporting safety concerns to supervisors.

Qualifications

• Must have physical stamina for lifting and standing during shifts.
• Ability to detect safety hazards and report them to supervisors.
• Reliable transportation to and from the facility.
• Ability to follow schedules and directions from a supervisor.
• Demonstrates professionalism in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, mop floors and clean surfaces in facilities.
• Gather and empty trash; supply, clean and service restrooms.
• Move heavy equipment, objects or furniture as needed.
• Identify and report potential repairs or safety concerns.
• Perform floor care tasks such as steam cleaning carpets, waxing, buffing if required.
