Job summary

Workwear Outfitters, based in Nashville, Tennessee, is seeking a 2nd shift garment assembler to support heat seal and vinyl transfer orders and related tasks. The role emphasizes accuracy, teamwork, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.

Candidates should be comfortable with basic math, able to stand 8 hours, and lift up to 50 pounds. Prior sewing/embroidery experience is helpful but not required; training for other duties is provided as needed.

Qualifications

• English reading, speaking, and understanding required.
• Basic math for measuring and marking garments.
• Comfortable using RES to track, correct, and update orders.
• High attention to detail and quality.
• Able to stand 8 hours and work OT when necessary.
• Sewing/embroidery experience is helpful but not required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Complete heat seal and vinyl transfer orders to meet shipping deadlines using heat presses.
• Train for various other jobs as needed to help with workflow.
• Rezip cases and retrieve replacement garments as needed.
• Check placements, striping, pockets, and any other options on garments.
• Maintain a safe and clean work environment that represents the company.
