Elmet Technologies, a division of The Elmet Group, is seeking a 2nd Shift Machine Operator – Furnace/Sintering in Euclid, Ohio. You will operate and monitor production furnaces, prepare materials, and ensure parts meet specifications.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Basic knowledge of measuring equipment (micrometers, dial calipers, dial indicators).
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic.
• Ability to read and follow specifications and production requirements.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Effective written and verbal English communication.
• Reliable and dependable attendance.
• Enjoy hands-on work and work around manufacturing equipment.
• Attention to detail and safety.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate production equipment to meet quality, delivery, and productivity goals.
• Perform machine setups, changeovers, and process monitoring according to production schedules.
• Conduct equipment inspections and maintain housekeeping standards (5S).
• Assist with troubleshooting and minor equipment maintenance activities.
• Maintain accurate production records, work orders, and inventory transactions.
• Ensure product traceability and compliance with quality requirements.
• Operate forklifts, cranes, and other industrial equipment.
• Cross-train on multiple machines and support departmental needs as required.
