Position Summary...

What you'll do...

Walmart Central Fill Pharmacy is a specialized type of pharmacy that focuses on processing and dispensing prescriptions for multiple retail pharmacy locations within a region. Unlike a traditional pharmacy, Central Fill uses automation to fill prescriptions quickly and accurately. Our goal is to support our community's health by allowing retail pharmacies to focus more on clinical services and education, even though Central Fill itself is not patient-facing.

We are hiring a Production Automation Technician for our Rogers, AR location.

Shift: 2nd shift

• Friday, Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. 10-hour days.
• 12:00pm - 10:30pm

Salary: Starts at $20.00/hr

2nd shift receives a $2/hr differential added to base pay.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 0-1 years experience repairing or maintaining optical, mechanical, or electrical equipment in an industrial setting.
• 1 year experience in a construction, industrial, production, or manufacturing environment.
• Eligible to obtain Pharmacy Technician license within 90 days of hire.
• Additional certifications may be required based on state laws.

Preferred Qualifications:

3 years experience repairing or maintaining optical, mechanical, or electrical equipment in an industrial setting, construction, production, or manufacturing environment.

Job duties include:

• Electrical Systems and Controls: Knowledge of wiring schematics, electrical inspection procedures, electrician tools, safety codes and regulations. Ability to troubleshoot control systems, interpret wiring schematics, and ensure safety and compliance.
• Influential Communication: Skills in verbal/nonverbal communication, situational awareness, relationship building, and influencing team members and partners effectively.
• Operational Excellence: Understanding of operational functions, SOPs, and department roles. Ability to read and interpret SOP documentation and operational procedures.
• Partnership & Collaboration: Knowledge of stakeholder management, project delivery, and process support. Ability to support business cases and process updates.
• Data & Digital Literacy: Skills in data collection, analysis, visualization, and automation opportunities identification.
• Negotiation: Techniques for creating win-win solutions, preparing data for negotiations, and engaging effectively at all organizational levels.
• Custodial Activities: Knowledge of cleaning equipment, procedures, and safety standards for routine and deep cleaning tasks.
• Schematics and Technical Drawings: Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings, interpret wiring and equipment layouts.
