Job summary

JCG Distribution Center in Lynchburg, VA seeks a Merchandise Processor II on 2nd shift. Responsibilities include picking, packing, inspecting and shipping merchandise to customers, and performing accurate data entry via PC/RF.

Candidates should have PC/RF experience or be computer literate with Excel/Word, basic math, and the ability to work independently or in a team. Flexible schedule and overtime may be required; safety and quality standards apply.

Qualifications

• PC/RF experience preferred; basic keyboarding skills.
• Computer literate with Microsoft Excel and Word knowledge.
• Distribution center experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Picks/packs, inspects, ships merchandise to customers.
• Accurately performs data entry via PC/RF.
• Achieves production (UPH) standards in all areas.
• Achieves IQA quality standards in all areas.
• Works with team to support process improvements and cost reductions.
• Understands team objectives within assigned work area.
• Applies basic skills and procedural knowledge within assigned work area.
• Reports to work as scheduled using the time clock system.
• Completes other duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Must be able to assist in any area during busy periods.
