Job summary

Phase2 Technology is seeking a 2nd Shift Part-Time Freight Handler in Springfield, Ohio. This role offers a starting pay of $18.60/hour, plus a $1 second shift premium and eligibility for performance incentives and bonuses. Work schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2 PM to 10 PM. Responsibilities include removing pallets of product, separating inbound freight, and maintaining product integrity. No experience is required, as training will be provided. Applicants must be able to work in varying temperatures and pass a drug test.

• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.

• Safely remove pallets of product from the trailer.
• Separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets.
• Ensure damaged product is properly accounted for.

2nd Shift Part-Time Freight Handler

Distribution Center Address: 4980 Gateway Blvd. | Springfield, Ohio 45502

Pay: Starting at $18.60/hour plus $1 second shift premium

• Plus any performance incentives, bonuses, etc.
• This position is eligible for a $150 weekend bonus per week. To qualify, employees must attend all three scheduled shifts. This bonus is in addition to standard hourly pay and incentives. Please note that any unexcused absence during these shifts will result in the loss of the $150 bonus for that week.

• Part Time - Friday, Saturday & Sunday only
• Start time: 2 PM - 10 PM

Gordon Food Service takes pride in delivering seamless order processing and delivery to our customers, and our warehouse staff is the backbone of our success. As a freight handler, you'll support our team by safely removing pallets of product from the trailer and breaking down the product for the correct pallet configuration. You will also separate inbound freight by item code onto good pallets, ensure that damaged product is properly accounted for and not received into the warehouse for sale inventory, and account for the structural integrity of pallets. There's no experience required - we'll train you how to get the job done!

• You must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed - holidays are very important to our customers!
• We have frozen products - your ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions (-25F to 100F) is required while you're here.
• Must be able to read, write and communicate in English.
• Successfully pass a drug test that will assess drug usage and a background check.
• Prior warehouse experience preferred, but not required.
