Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. in Spring Hill, TN is seeking Warehouse Forklift Operator / Material Handler positions.

You will operate sit-down forklifts to move automotive parts, pick, pack, and ship orders in a fast-paced distribution environment, with weekly pay and comprehensive benefits. This role requires a high school diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and the ability to work the second shift Monday–Friday from 4:00 pm to 12:30 am; paid training, competitive wages, and advancement

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• One year or more related warehouse experience preferred.
• Valid Forklift Operator's License/certified required or preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Ability to work in a diverse environment.
• Punctuality and good attendance record.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse duties including loading, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, forklift operation, and cycle counting.
• Adhere to contract performance measurement guidelines.
• Accurately pick/pack, audit, tote induction, stage products, and load/unload trucks.
• Process day-to-day warehouse paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading, etc.).
• Provide maintenance support for automated packing systems during the core shift hour.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
