Job summary

Fresh Express Salads is seeking a Warehouse Associate to operate forklifts and Voice picking systems in a cold warehouse environment. You will handle raw products, dry goods, and finished goods, ensure proper rotation, and load orders into trailers.

Bilingual English/Spanish or English/Polish is preferred, with weekend/holiday availability and safety compliance emphasized. The role requires 1+ year in warehouse or cold settings and demonstrates reliability in fast-paced operations.

Qualifications

• Weekend and holiday work required.
• Must have basic math skills.
• Bilingual English/Spanish and/or English/Polish.
• Forklift certification strongly preferred; High School Diploma desirable.
• Food industry experience a plus.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience meeting customer expectations.
• Past experience with Voice order picking.
• Experience in a cold environment.
• Self-motivated with minimal supervision.
• Previous warehouse experience preferred.
• Minimum of one year forklift, one year warehouse, or one year cold environment.

Responsibilities

• Inspect powered jacks/powered trucks for operating conditions and safety.
• Operation of powered jacks/powered trucks.
• Compliance to SOP's, Safety, and all Fresh Express policies.
• Accurate, timely and efficient workflow for all assignments.
• Perform all documentation required for function being performed.
• Maintain clean and orderly work area, including all dock areas, raw and finished coolers.
• Communicate with assistant/supervisors, clerks, production, and QA as needed.
• Ensure warehouse cleanliness.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned.
• Use Voice system to pick and load orders.
