Havis is hiring a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00pm-11:00pm, Mon-Fri) in Warminster, PA. The role involves transporting material, loading/unloading, stacking, and ensuring safety and inventory accuracy on a full-time basis.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or equivalent, forklift certification, and basic math and English comprehension. RF scanner experience is preferred to support daily operations in a manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility.
Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks or trailers.
Move goods on pallets or in crates within the storage facility.
Stack goods in correct storage bays and follow inventory control.
Check that loads are secure and remove waste/materials from machines.
Perform daily equipment checks and keep records.
Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
Operate equipment safely and work in a team setting.

Salary Range: $18.00 To $24.00 Hourly

Job Title: Forklift Operator 2nd Shift (3:00pm-11:00pm Mon-Fri)
Department: Warehouse
Accountability: This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor

Responsibilities

Transport material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility
Load and unload goods from vehicles such as trucks or trailers
Move goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility
Stack goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions
Check loads are secure
Stack empty pallets
Perform daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment
Remove machine attachments and waste material from machines
Examine products to verify conformance to quality standards
Dump materials into machine hoppers
Follow instructions for operating equipment and keep records
Execute assignments in an accurate, timely and safe manner
Maintain a clean and safe work environment

Requirements

High School diploma or equivalent
Good math, language and reading skills; basic computer skills may be required
High degree of attention required to prevent injury to others; promote a safe work environment
RF scanner gun experience preferred
Clean driving record and a valid state motor vehicle operator’s license may be required
Forklift certification per OSHA standards
Comfortable with regularly sitting on a powered industrial truck
Ability to regularly lift and move up to 50 lbs.
Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English
Ability to work in a team environment and communicate effectively
Must possess a strong attention to detail
Have a good eye-hand-foot coordination; general sense of balance
Visual requirements include close vision, color vision, depth perception, and ability to focus
General knowledge of workplace safety, a plus
Must be able to work at heights of up to 20 feet
