Job summary

Georgia-Pacific Harmon Recycling seeks a 2nd Shift Forklift Operator for our Savannah, GA facility. You will safely operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers, and maintain accurate shipment records while collaborating with teammates to keep operations efficient.

The role requires at least 6 months of forklift experience in an industrial setting, strict safety adherence, and the ability to lift up to 30 lbs.

Qualifications

• 6 months or more of experience using a forklift to load and unload trailers.
• Experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and perform physical tasks as required.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trailers.
• Ensure accurate record keeping for inbound and outbound shipments.
• Work collaboratively with other team members.
• Ensure a safe work environment by removing debris from warehouse areas.
• Perform tasks such as lifting, walking, climbing, stooping, standing, pushing and/or pulling for up to eight hours a day.
