Job summary

You will load and unload trailers, stack items in storage bays, and perform daily lift truck checks to maintain safety and efficiency. Responsibilities include using RF guns to scan and verify orders, ensuring secure loads, and keeping dock and storage areas clean.

Qualifications

• Forklift operator experience required.
• Knowledge of and ability to operate forklift and other material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Operate lift trucks to load/unload palletized product and move product within the facility.
• Transport material and equipment according to production and shipping schedules.
• Unload and load trailers and straight trucks.
• Stack product in storage bays following inventory control instructions.
• Ensure secure loads, complying with safety rules and regulations.
• Complete Daily Operator's Checklist for lift trucks.
• Inspect finished goods prior to loading for shipment and verify pallets/packaging.
• Use RF guns to scan inventory, receive materials, update inventory, and scan/verify orders.
• Maintain cleanliness and order within dock, freezer and storage zones.
• All other relevant duties as assigned.
