Job summary

Maola Local Dairies in Newport News, VA is seeking a Forklift Operator for the 2nd shift to load, unload, move, stack, stage and count product and materials. This on-site role requires operating equipment safely and maintaining organized work areas.

Hours are 12:00pm-8:30pm with overtime, weekends and holidays; hourly pay is $21.00. The position offers full-time status with benefits after enrollment and opportunities to contribute to a farmer-owned cooperative.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or international equivalent.
• Forklift experience is required.
• Ability to operate forklift safely and efficiently.
• Must be able to work 12:00pm-8:30pm shift and overtime including weekends/holidays.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload products safely and efficiently.
• Accurately load palletized orders.
• Receive incoming product and stock designated areas.
• Operate and clean equipment (e.g., palletizer, bander).
• Maintain clean, safe work area and report spills.
