You will maintain accurate inventory and perform routine safety checks on lifting equipment. Eligible candidates should be skilled in forklift operation, with strong spatial awareness and familiarity with warehouse layouts.

Qualifications

• Must be skilled in operating forklift controls to move loads safely and efficiently.
• Must know load heights, widths, and lifting capacities of the forklift.
• Good ability to judge doorway and aisle dimensions for safe maneuvering.
• Must recognize load balance and truck capability before moving.
• Knowledge of warehouse layouts to place items without detailed instructions.

Responsibilities

• Drive forklift with lifting device to move raw materials, in-process products, and finished goods within warehouse or yard.
• May load and unload semi-trailers as required.
• Maintain accurate inventory and report discrepancies.
• Move materials onto/off pallets or lifting devices as needed.
• Perform safety checks on lifts and equipment.
