Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Houston is seeking a Forklift Operator for the GHUB 2nd shift. You will move, store, and count merchandise using power industrial trucks, and may perform order filling and checking duties as needed.

You will maintain accurate records, input data into WMS, follow SOPs, and ensure safety and quality. A high school diploma or GED, 6 months logistics experience, and forklift certification required; training and benefits accompany the role.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience in logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations. Input data accurately into WMS.
• Pull and prepare for shipment, ensure exact quantity and type of product is loaded and shipped.
• Ensure inbound and outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Move product from staging to production lines and proper documentation must accompany freight.
• Maintain a clean, neat, orderly work area and comply with SOPs and safety rules.
• Operate forklift or other power equipment; perform basic maintenance and keep equipment in good condition.
• Perform site-specific duties as needed.
