Job summary

DSV – Global Transport and Logistics in Edwardsville is seeking a Forklift Driver for dayshift to move, stack, and count merchandise using powered equipment. The operator ensures safe, accurate handling and may perform order filler and checker duties as needed.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, at least 6 months in logistics, and the ability to operate MHE in varied warehouse temperatures. Hourly pay is provided with standard benefits and opportunities for overtime.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• 6 months experience working in a logistics/distribution environment.
• Able to operate MHE (forklifts, pallet jacks, etc.).
• Must be able to work in unregulated temperatures within the warehouse across seasons.

Responsibilities

• Unload inbound shipments safely and move product to storage locations using forklift.
• Pull and prepare for shipment, ensuring correct quantity and type of product.
• Ensure inbound/outbound shipments are accurate and free of damage.
• Move product from staging to production lines or docks as required.
• Maintain accurate records and participate in physical inventories.
