Job summary

VetJobs is hiring a 2nd Shift Material Handler in Bolingbrook, IL. You will move materials using a forklift, load/unload trucks, and keep the workspace organized. The role requires forklift experience, strong safety awareness, and the ability to follow ISO/6S standards.

Pay ranges up to $24/hour plus a $0.50/hour shift premium. Work hours are on the 2nd shift in a fast-paced warehouse environment with physical requirements, including lifting up to 70 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED is

Qualifications

• Must have forklift experience and be comfortable operating equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and safety-conscious mindset.
• Ability to read and write in English (French in Quebec).

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts to move and stock materials.
• Load and unload trucks and verify contents with shipping documents.
• Keep area clean and organized; conduct daily forklift inspections.
• Follow safety, ISO and 6S standards; assist with other warehouse tasks.
• Coordinate sorting and staging based on truck schedules.
• Use RF scanners to track material during unloading and storage.
