FedEx Supply Chain is seeking a Forklift Operator I for the 2nd shift in S. Indianapolis. The role focuses on safe operation of powered material handling equipment, including sit-down/stand-up forklifts and electric pallet jacks, to receive, store, and fulfill orders.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, inventory accuracy, and adherence to OSHA safety rules. Requires a high school diploma or equivalent and ability to meet PPE requirements. E-Verify and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Ability to operate powered basic material handling equipment.
• Must meet PPE requirements and safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload pallets and cases from trucks and conveyors.
• Safely operate forklifts and pallet jacks for movement and storage.
• Build pallets and ensure correct storage locations.
• Apply shrink wrap using machinery.
• Maintain accuracy of inventory and cycle counts.
• Perform daily equipment inspections and safe operation checks.
• Adhere to OSHA safety rules and company procedures.
• Support additional distribution tasks as needed.
