CTDI is seeking a Forklift Operator for 2nd shift (3:00PM - 11:30PM, Monday-Friday) at our Logan Township, NJ location. The role involves operating powered industrial trucks to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count goods, with a 10% shift differential bringing pay to about $20.80 per hour.

Responsibilities include unloading shipments, stocking, preparing orders, inventory control, and safety compliance. Requires 1+ year of warehouse experience and PIT certification; high school diploma

Description

Forklift Operator is responsible for operating Powered Industrial Truck (PIT) equipment for the purpose of moving, locating, relocating, stacking, and counting products/materials.

2nd Shift: 3:00PM - 11:30PM, Monday-Friday

Pay Rate: $18.91 per hour + 10% shift differential = $20.80 per hour

Responsibilities

• Unloads inbound shipments safely and moves product to appropriate locations.
• Stacks and stores products in designated areas using a forklift, push-pull, or other powered equipment.
• Pulls and prepares products for shipment by ensuring the exact number and type of product is loaded.
• Moves product from staging and/or storage areas into trailers and the production floor.
• Operates all equipment in a safe and efficient manner following the established warehouse safety standards/regulations.
• Immediately report any incidents or accidents involving PIT equipment to a Supervisor/Manager.
• Maintains appropriate records and reports to guarantee inventory control and security.
• Assists in physical inventories.
• May require performing picking duties in an efficient manner.
• All other duties assigned, based on the business the warehouse supports.

Required Skills and Experience

• At least 1 years’ experience and/or using warehouse distribution equipment.
• Maintain compliance with CTDI's PIT certification requirements.
• Thoroughness and attention to detail in task completion.
• Basic knowledge of computers and MS Office (Excel, and Outlook).
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience working in a high-volume distribution, manufacturing, technical service (i.e. testing and repair) or forward logistics operation a plus
• Handles basic issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher-level staff
• Written and verbal communication skills

Educational Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent work experience

Physical Demands and Working Conditions

• Warehouse environment
• The ability to lift, push and/or pull up to 50 lbs., if necessary
• The ability to stand and walk for an extended period of time, if necessary
• The ability to bend, push, pull, twist, and reach in a continuous/repetitive capacity, if necessary
