Schnellecke Logistics USA in Ladson, SC is seeking a Forklift Operator to support material movement in a fast-paced automotive logistics setting. You will safely operate sit-down forklifts to move parts to the assembly line, manage inventory, and uphold safety and quality standards.

Responsibilities include loading/unloading, scanning inventory with RF devices, and maintaining clean, safe work areas while adhering to SOPs. Flexible shifts, overtime, and weekend work may be required.

Formación

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Minimum 1 year of sit-down forklift experience within the last year required.
• Proven ability to safely operate sit-down forklift equipment.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume production environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards.
• Ability to follow instructions and directions from supervisors and management.
• Basic computer or RF scanner experience preferred.
• Willingness to work flexible shifts, overtime, and weekends as required.

Position Summary

The Forklift Operator role is responsible for safely operating powered industrial trucks to support material movement within a fast-paced automotive logistics and production environment. This position ensures the timely delivery of parts to the assembly line, accurate inventory handling, and compliance with safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate sit-down forklift equipment safely and efficiently in a production environment
• Pick automotive parts and deliver materials to the assembly line to support production flow

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a warehouse or automotive production environment with exposure to moving equipment and assembly operations
• Must be able to stand and work on foot for 8 to 10 hours per shift
• Frequent lifting, bending, walking, and reaching throughout the shift
• Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and industrial conditions
• Required use of Personal Protective Equipment, including steel-toe shoes or boots and safety glasses at all times on the shop floor
