Job summary

Stier Supply Company is seeking a 2nd Shift Warehouse Associate with forklift driving experience. The role supports the distribution team, driving efficiency and accuracy in receiving, stocking, and material movement.

You will operate a forklift, perform cycle counts, and maintain inventory locations in BisTrack while adhering to safety standards. Join a team that values safety, teamwork, and steady local work.

Qualifications

• Ability to repetitively lift up to 75 lbs.
• Experience operating a forklift in a manufacturing or distribution setting.
• Comfortable working indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Transfer materials from staging areas to primary and secondary locations.
• Conduct cycle counts according to schedule.
• Label locations and record load locations in BisTrack to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Segregate materials based on defined criteria and coordinate stock adjustments daily with production.
• Unload and pick materials as required and uphold all safety policies.

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for the continued replenishment of all products and material within their allotted bays and bin locations. This positions helps by maintaining inventory accuracy, adapts to shifting priorities, and upholds all safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Transfer materials from staging areas to secondary and primary locations.
• Conduct all cycle counts according to the defined schedule.
• Implement and maintain a visual warehouse by labeling locations and recording load locations in BisTrack.
• Segregate materials based on specified criteria.
• Work closely with production areas to determine and execute necessary stock adjustments daily.
• Adapt to operational needs, including unloading and picking materials as required.
• Uphold safety standards by following all safety policies and guidelines.

Salary Based on experience

Benefits Life, Health, Dental, and Vision after 60 days. Paid vacation and holidays after 90 days. 401(k) with company match when eligible after 6 months.

Position Requirements

Qualifications

• Capability to repetitively lift 75 lbs.
• Experience with operating a forklift, perferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Comfortable working in both indoor and outdoor conditions, including various weather conditions.
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to stand, walk, lift, and carry materials for extended periods.
• Capability to push and pull carts as needed.
• Strong time management and multitasking skills with an eye for detail.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain focus during repetitive tasks.

Physical Requirements

Heavy Lifting: Frequently lift and carry materials weighing up to 75 pounds.

Standing/Walking: Frequent movement between storage areas and loading docks (up to 8-10 hours/day)

Physical Endurance: Work in the warehouse and sometimes outdoors in various weather conditions, and frequently bend, twist, and reach overhead..

Additional Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older
• Successful completion of pre-employment drug screening, background check, and health and physical evaluation.
