Job summary

Williams-Sonoma, Inc. is seeking a 2nd Shift Forklift Driver (Part Time) in Dayton, NJ. The role supports loading, picking, and inventory tasks in a fast-paced distribution center environment.

Experience with Pacer, turret, and order picker forklifts is preferred and on-site work is required. You will work 4:00 PM - 8:30 PM, Monday to Friday, with safety and teamwork emphasized throughout daily operations. Compensation is $20.50 per hour, with benefits including a generous discount and 401(k)

• At least 1 year forklift experience (Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, Turret).
• Must be onsite and in-office role.
• Excellent attendance and teamwork mindset.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift and support loading/unloading tasks.
• Complete daily hub picks using the inventory system.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organize aisles daily.
• Cross-train to operate multiple WSI DDC equipment.
• Adhere to safety standards and teamwork.

You’ll be excited about this opportunity because you will:

• Work with leadership to ensure the completion of all (Manual and On-Task) tasks by end of each day.
• Complete daily pick for the Hub with the use of our inventory management system.
• Utilizing the orders to understand where items need to be moved – may or may not include power equipment.
• Utilizing the warehouse system to maintain and uphold inventory accuracy.
• Ensuring the completion of all staging/sweeping tasks using power equipment.
• Loads and unloads, stacks, and stages products utilizing multiple types of power equipment.
• Ensure organization and housekeeping of aisles and surroundings daily.
• Promote safety awareness and cultivate the safety culture throughout the company to help avoid unsafe or hazardous working conditions.
• Other duties as instructed.

• High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• At least 1 year of forklift experience in operating the following: Order Picker, Reach Truck, Pacer, & Turret.
• This is an onsite and in office role.
• Excellent attendance and willingness to be part of a team – performing whatever duties are necessary.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written).
• Ability to learn warehouse management system functions (PKMS).
• Ability to read and verify locations and SKU numbers.
• Willing and able to be cross trained and certified to operate any or all WSI DDC equipment: Reach Tracker, Pacers, Swing Reach, Order Picker/TT, Motorized Pallet Jack.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, ability to work under pressure, and be a fast learner.
• Flexible to work overtime as required.
• Must be able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.

• Comfortable walking/standing 100% of the day.
• Able to bend, reach, squat, and climb stairs/ladders.
• Able tolift upto 75lbs.
