Job summary

SnackCraft in Wisconsin seeks a dependable Materials Handler to keep production supplied with raw materials and ensure proper FIFO/FEFO storage and timely returns to the warehouse.

You will operate forklifts, follow GMPs and OSHA safety rules, and collaborate with teammates to meet production schedules while maintaining clean, organized work areas and accurate material movements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• OSHA certification preferred.
• Forklift operation experience required.

Responsibilities

• Provide production with packaging materials, pallets, ingredients, and wraps; transport finished goods to warehouse or staging area.
• Transport materials between facility areas and optimize loads for efficiency.
• Inspect loads and secure them before transport; operate and manage equipment.
• Follow FEFO and FIFO principles for raw materials and finished goods; uphold allergen controls.

Description: Responsible for the safe and legal handling of raw materials and finished goods. Ensuring that production lines are supplied with raw materials needed during a production run and remaining materials are returned to the storage warehouse in a manner that adheres to SnackCraft’s storage procedures.Work Environment: This job operates in a food production and warehouse setting. The facility is not mechanically temperature controlled and at times will require work in hot temperatures. The floor surface is concrete. The noise level is moderate with no vibration.
