Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. in Chico, CA is seeking a Warehouse Operator 1 for 2nd shift in Transportation to support production by receiving, sorting, and shipping materials.

You will work under the Warehouse Supervisor and ensure accurate inventory through FIFO and WMS. The role offers hourly pay from $16.74 to $25.86, plus benefits including 401(k) matching, medical, dental, and vision coverage, and paid time off.

Qualifications

• Forklift operation certification or experience preferred.
• Familiarity with FIFO inventory methods and cycle counts.
• Proficiency with Warehouse Management Systems (WMS).
• Commitment to safety practices in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to work across Packaging, Quality, Brewing and Supply Chain teams.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine warehouse tasks: beer put away, material receiving, loading outbound shipments, building partial pallets, and staging materials.
• Uses Yard Manager, Phoenix WMS, BOMs and other systems for daily operations.
• Certified to operate forklifts and related equipment (tyguard/bomber, pallet wrapper, print/apply stations).
• Maintains safe work practices and conducts forklift inspections.
• Manages FIFO and conducts cycle counts to improve inventory accuracy.
• Collaborates across Packaging, Quality, Brewing, and Supply Chain as needed.
• Supports SQF and GMP training and follows safety rules in Chico, CA.
