Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking a Warehouse Operator 1 at our Mills River facility to manage daily warehouse tasks, receive and load shipments, and build partial pallets. You will work with WMS tools and forklifts, ensuring accurate inventory and FIFO compliance while coordinating with Packaging, Brewing, Quality and Supply Chain teams.

Qualifications

• 1 year powered industrial truck experience preferred.
• Experience with tractor-trailer operations and safe maneuvering preferred.
• Ability to operate a PIT with single-double attachment.
• Must work well in a fast-paced team environment.
• Learn and master the Warehouse Management System (WMS).
• Strong verbal and written communication, math and reasoning.
• Forklift certification within 30 days; yard goat certification within 1 year.
• You must be at least 21 years old and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine warehouse tasks: beer put away, material receiving, loading outbound shipments, building partial pallets, and material staging.
• Utilize Yard Manager, Phoenix WMS, BOMs, and ASNs for daily operations.
• Certified and proficient in forklifts and related equipment.
• Demonstrate safe work practices in all activities.
• Adjust inventory and perform cycle counts to improve accuracy and FIFO compliance.
• Collaborate with Packaging, Quality, Brewing, and Supply Chain teams as needed.
• Contribute to housekeeping, recycle programs, and equipment safety.
