Job summary

FALL CREEK FARM & NURSERY in Chattanooga, TN seeks a Forging Operator for 2nd shift to run drop hammers and die forgers, and to support cell-based production.

You will interpret manufacturing prints, set up and run equipment, maintain quality, and work in a crew in a fast-paced environment while adhering to safety standards.

Strong readiness to lift up to 40 lbs, follow work orders, and keep a clean, organized workspace as you contribute to forged product output.

Qualifications

• Experience interpreting manufacturing prints and work orders.
• Ability to follow written or diagram instructions.
• Capability to set up equipment from drawings and run quality products.
• Lift/pull up to 40 lbs safely.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate machines in the work center.
• Adjust parameters to produce acceptable parts.
• Set up and run trim presses.
• Verify product quality using prints and gauges.
• Work in a crew in a fast-paced environment.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
