Job summary

Pacific Seafood is seeking a Production Worker for the San Antonio VA Production team. This full-time role supports production tasks, inspects products for quality, and ensures a safe, clean work environment in a fast-paced setting.

The ideal candidate is meticulous, works well in a team, and can operate in a loud environment with adherence to safety protocols. Forklift and RF scanner experience is preferred, with availability for variable shifts, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Experience with food processing equipment, sanitation, and food safety.
• Experience safely operating forklifts and powered pallet jacks.
• Experience with radio frequency handheld scanners and quality control.

Responsibilities

• Inspect product for quality, grade, and sort by size.
• Pack product according to company standards.
• Maintain methods in all production areas to ensure quality and consistency.
• Maintain proper par levels as instructed to meet production demands.
• Communicate supply material levels to ensure continuous production flow.
• Maintain plant safety by adhering to safety protocols and procedures.
• Maintain clean work environment to minimize hazards and maintain hygiene standards.
• Be able to work independently with minimal supervision to complete tasks efficiently.
• Remain flexible and adaptable to changing production needs and priorities.
• Provide backup support for other duties as needed to maintain workflow.
