Job summary

Tyson Foods in Wisconsin is looking for a dependable Machine Operator to set up, operate and troubleshoot the peeler and supporting equipment on the 2nd shift. You will move racks, perform weight checks, log SAP paperwork and maintain sanitation standards in a fast-paced plant environment.

Requirements include a minimum of 3 months with the same employer, ability to lift and push 20 pounds, willingness to work overtime and weekends, and the ability to complete all required safety and quality

Qualifications

• 3 months of work history with the same employer.
• Location is not accepting rehires.
• 2nd shift availability and willingness to work overtime/weekends.

Responsibilities

• Move racked product and remove racks to the rack wash area.
• Move 900 pounds of product on racks from the holding cooler to the peeler room.
• Empty smokehouse chills when the product is ready.
• Perform necessary weight and process checks.
• Perform general housekeeping duties in the department.
• Take salimeter readings and adjust if necessary.
• Check and clean the KSI screens.
• Will need to tow motor certification to transport tanks and racks.
• Complete all paperwork and SAP functions and accurately record product information.
