Job summary

Red Gold Tomatoes is seeking a Warehouse Sanitation Associate to maintain cleanliness across the distribution facility, operate a power floor scrubber, and ensure safety equipment is in proper working order. The role supports daily sanitation schedules and requires the ability to lift light to moderate loads and move around the warehouse.

Responsibilities include cleaning ceilings and fixtures, managing trash containers, operating the scrubber, and maintaining floor lines and walls.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate forklift and pass company requirements.
• Sanitation and/or forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and inspect warehouse signs, fire extinguishers, drop stations and safety mirrors.
• Clean warehouse equipment, stretch wrapper, dock pits and dock locks.
• Paint and maintain warehouse floor lines and walls.

PRINCIPLE ACCOUNTABILITIES

• General cleaning of ceilings, lights, walkways, ledges, beams, perimeters and racks
• Maintain and operate the powered floor scrubber in accordance with the cleaning schedule
• Empty and clean warehouse trash containers
• Maintain, clean and do upkeep on warehouse signs, fire extinguishers, drop stations and safety mirrors
• Clean warehouse equipment, stretch wrapper, dock pits and dock locks in accordance with the cleaning schedule
• Paint and maintain warehouse floor lines and walls as necessary

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

• Ability to operate forklift. Must pass Red Gold forklift operator requirements
• Prefer prior sanitation and/or forklift experience

On the job training regarding the operation of power scrubber, handling of chemical cleaners, and forklift operation
