Job summary

Alabama Labels & Graphics Inc is seeking a 2nd Shift Finishing Operator to safely operate finishing equipment in our production area. The role includes setting up, running laminating, rewinding, cutting, and counting processes with cross-training across multiple lines.

The ideal candidate will have mechanical aptitude, basic computer skills, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment. High school diploma or GED and at least 1 year of manufacturing experience are required.

Qualifications

• Experience operating machinery.
• Fine motor skills and good hand-eye coordination.
• Detail oriented with precision.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Receive production orders and job assignments from Lead and respond accordingly.
• Read and understand job tickets to define requirements.
• Operate finishing equipment safely and efficiently to produce quality product.
• Inspect finished products to meet specifications and quality standards.
• Package finished products for shipment to customers or warehouses.
• Complete production records as required by company guidelines.
• Maintain clean and safe work area.
• Demonstrate positive, professional attitude and teamwork.
• Support cross-department tasks as needed.

Education

High school diploma or GED

Minimum 1 year manufacturing experience

Screen, Flexo, Digital or Offset printing experience a plus
