Matthews Memorialization is hiring a Finishing Operator for the 2nd shift in a safety‑driven environment. The role includes belt finishing, coating, polishing, and packing with focus on quality control and production flow.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years finishing experience preferred.
• Proficiency with MS Office and basic software.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work overtime as necessary.

Responsibilities

• Visually inspects product at work station to determine work required.
• Determines required finish operation based upon production order and ticket.
• Performs finish process that meet quality standards of operation; standards are on site for review.
• Transfers product to and from work station safely.
• Observes and follows safety precautions, rules and regulations.
• Belting: belts memorials and routine maintenance.
