2nd Shift Finished Goods Line Machine Operator - Line 1 (Finance)

Position: 2nd Shift Finished Goods Line Machine Operator

Location: Watertown, WI

Starting Hourly Rate: $23.25 plus shift premium

Hours: 2:10 pm - 11:00 pm (Overtime as production demands, including weekends)

Position Overview:

Your contribution will ensure that Johnsonville products are of the highest quality and meet our safety standards. You will learn various line processes, expanding your knowledge in sausage manufacturing, with opportunities for growth and continuous improvement as part of the Finished Goods Line Team.

Responsibilities:

1. Operate and learn different machines/positions on the line, including:

• Labeler
• Wrapping Machine operator
• Case packing operator
• Quality Enhancement Specialist
• Casings
• Meat Delivery
• Stuffing operator
• Traying
• Line Support

Proper setup and teardown of equipment

Accurately perform SAP transactions related to job duties

Take ownership of your safety and the safety of others

Qualifications:

Education:

• High School Diploma preferred

Experience:

• Machine operator experience preferred
• Ability to obtain forklift certification and maintain safety standards if required
• SAP experience preferred but not mandatory

• Mechanical aptitude for equipment setup and operation
• Knowledge of equipment functions and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to read and understand production schedules

Physical Demands:

• Ability to grip up to 50 lbs and lift/carry/push/pull up to 30 lbs
• Standing and walking throughout the shift
• Bending and reaching as needed
• Willingness to work in cold conditions

Other Requirements:
